Generally, I do nothing on Black Friday.
This is due to the fact that we always feast very heavily on Thanksgiving. Traditionally we have a Mexican dip, some things coated in bacon, a turkey (which may or may not come with a mustache) other things the pilgrams most likely wouldn’t know what to do with.
The day long massacre of carbs really wipes us out, so you can imagine why I’ve never been too keen on the idea of waking up the next day and attempting to actually move.
This Black Friday however, I can say that I do have plans.
This Black Friday my big plans include following Christmas Champ on Twitter.
I’m very grateful that the internet can allow me to feel like I’m actually doing something by technically doing nothing.
I loved her Target spots last year, but this year they took her to a whole new level of cray and put her on Twitter. (It’s possible she was there last year, but I wasn’t aware of her presence.) Ad Week just came out with an article with all 12 of her TV spots. My favorite= Homemade Glitter.
So rock on Target girl, you’re my Thanksgiving hangover hero. Thanks to you I can actually say for the first time ever that I’m doing something for Black Friday.
So those are my plans. What’re yours?
